Company Profile

Aiport Alliance was formed in 1997 by an association of former civil aviation personnel to specialise on airport electrical and electronic engineering. We have a philosophy of continuous improvement and a focus on delivering quality technical solutions that satisfy our customers and ensure development of an ongoing business relationship.

Airport Alliance through its employees and associates has access to the complete range of technical and project management skills necessary to design install and maintain airport electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.

The key personnel of the business are

Mr Chris Cunningham - Director
Mr Terry Twomey      - Director and Senior Technical Officer (Electrical)
Mr Remo Pardini        - Project Manager
Mr Nicholas White     - Design Draftsman

 who between them have in excess of 100 years Aviation experience in all aspects related to design installation and maintenance of airport electrical and electronic systems.

Capability

Airport Alliance key personnel have developed extensive contacts within the aviation industry through many years of working within the industry. This provides Airport Alliance with the ability to access a network of aviation-trained resources across a wide range of technical disciplines. Through this network, we are able to form a project team tailored to suit the skill requirements of any particular project.

  •  Perth Airport new runway 03/21 lighting and new equipment room 

Recently completed projects

  • Mugarinya Airport Lighting. This included runway, taxiway and IWI lighting together associated PALC remote control system. The site is powered by a standalone Solar/Genset power source.
  • Installation of Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) at The Granites goldmine.
  • Installation of PAPI lighting at Christmas and Cocos Islands.
  • Design and installation of RWY/TWY/IWI/ Apron/Obstruction lighting for The Granites Goldmine Airport. Including Main/Backup diesel generator and Solar power supplies.
  • Installation of Runway Guard Lighting at Perth Airport
  • Installation of new lighting for 06/24 Runway. Perth Airport
  • Expansion of Check-in Terminals and Baggage Handling at Perth International Terminal for Westralia Airports Corporation.
  • Design / Installation of Denmark, WA, airport lighting. - Runway / Taxiway / Apron Flood / IWI / PAPI
  • Design / Installation of Ravensthorpe, WA, Power and airport lighting, (for new BHP nickel mining operations)
    - Runway / Taxiway /Apron Flood / IWI / PAPI
  • Installation of Mount Keith, WA, airport lighting, for Western Mining Company.
    - Runway / Taxiway /Apron Flood / IWI / PAPI
  • Installation of PAPI at RAAF Base Learmonth.
  • Design / installation of new Kalbarri Airport power and lighting facilities.
  • Design of RAAF Pearce and Gingin Airfields runway lighting upgrades.
  • Checked Bag Screening facility at Sydney International Airport. Airport Alliance provided peer review services for the client, Sydney Airports Corporation.
  • Ansett Domestic Baggage Handling at Sydney KS Airport. Airport Alliance acted as Client's Representative.
